This Chrome extension translates web pages with a single click using Chrome's built-in AI model, Gemini Nano. No information is sent to the Internet. It relies on experimental features of Chrome as of August 2024 and may not work in the future due to changes in Chrome's functionality.
How To Use
1. Open chrome://flags and enable 'Enables optimization guide on device: Enabled BypassPerfRequirement' and 'Prompt API for Gemini Nano: Enabled'. Restart Chrome. 2. Open chrome://components and wait until the Optimization Guide On Device Model Status becomes 'Component already up to date'. 3. Select the text you want to translate and click on the extension icon.
